Our quality assurance efforts

People all over the world use our products. That means we must deliver the same quality all over the world. To that end, we use quality standards and rules, which apply to all our production and distribution companies, among others. The first part, Foqus Food Safety & Quality, describes the requirements to achieve the highest quality, from processing, packaging and storage to distribution. A robust process for the best cheese

We control the entire chain and deliver high-quality end products through collaboration. The systems at our production facilities meet the set standards. Our production equipment is designed to ensure hygiene and is continuously maintained.

We need to monitor, inspect and improve our processes continuously to avoid problems and minimize risks. Foqus outlines which standards and criteria have to be met for each link in the dairy chain. To check the effectiveness of all our concerted efforts, our laboratories intensively scrutinize the end and semi-finished products made in our production locations.

Laboratories continuously analyse our products

Our laboratories analyze semi-finished and end products made by our production locations as well as the ingredients used, besides our milk, such rennet and cultures. Most of the analyses concern microbiological research with which we can detect undesirable micro-organisms. We work with around 80 different types of microbiological analyses. We also inspect the samples of ingredients, semi-finished and end products to determine the accuracy of composition and the absence of contaminants, heavy metals and even radioactivity. We have more than 300 types of analyses at our disposal for this research.
